Build thoughtfully.
“Build thoughtfully” is our guiding phrase for how we go about our work. When designing, we believe in taking the extra time to be selective and purposeful. This shows up in our overall neighborhood designs all the way down to specific selections within our homes. For your education, below is further information on the “why” and “what” of a feature or selection.
Private Courtyard
Dark gray pavers
Fully fenced with gate access
Gas tap
Planter area
Direct garage access
The Trestlewood concept emphasizes the Porch-to-Park experience, but we know that having a private area outdoors is important. At every Trestlewood home is a private courtyard between the garage and home. This space will come with gravel and pavers to provide flexibility in uses. The space is large enough for your pet or hosting area with outdoor furniture. A gas tap makes it a very convenient place to do your grilling. The fencing is stylized like other fencing on site for continuity but has a smaller “reveal” between the horizontal boards for more privacy. The size of the private courtyard will change depending on which size of house you decide to go with. The smaller house will have a larger private courtyard. Having that outdoor private area for planters, pets, hosting, grilling, etc. can make enjoying the things you love that much easier.
